In the Summer of 2005, a Dufour 40, with performance rig and sails, dared all colleagues and competitors in Alicante (Spain) to conquer the famous title – IMS World Champion 2005 in the IMS 670 Class.

The first of a new range, the Dufour 40 showed all the signs of success from the very beginning. Its fluid and aggressive lines proclaim a strong potential for speed on all point sailing. Optimised by the use of new technologies, its performance is matched only by her extraordinary comfort, simplified deck layout, ease of movement around the deck and huge interior for living at sea.
