Lincoln Visitor Information

The wonderfully unique Burton Waters Marina development is set in the midst of beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, adjacent to the Fossdyke Navigation, and just two miles by water from the centre of the historic City of Lincoln with easy access to the sea through Boston and the Trent.

With a range of waterside shops, restuarants and pubs surrounding fifteen acres of water space, Burton Waters offers an idylic life and is the perfect place to relax.

The utter joy of Burton Waters Marina is the variety of services all in one place. There’s a slipway available for assisted or self launch, a hoist able to handle cruisers up to 60ft, and even a specially designed trailer that can handle narrow boats up to the same length. In addition, there’s full pump out facilities, diesel, petrol, visitor’s berths, and secure dry berthing ashore. The dealership also manages the marina’s moorings, so if you fancy joining the elite and happy band of boats at this new marina, you know who to ask.

Ipswich Visitor Information

We opened Burton Waters Ipswich in 2008. Located at Ipswich Haven Marina, it is at the head of the river Orwell. Since opening, we have become the official Yacht Broker for the marina and offer a full range of services, including chandlery, yard work and moorings. We are agents for Prestige, Jeanneau, Glastron & Bavaria. We have now established ourselves as one of the leading yacht brokers on the East coast with perhaps the reputation for being the leader in luxury power boats sales, offering part exchange. We have dedicated sales water moorings for our brokerage and stock boats, including the hammer head, to cater for vessels up to 70ft. We have two large raised walkways on our sales display area, for easy access to both sailing yachts and motor boats, without the need to climb ladders. Our chandlery offers a range of items for keeping your boats in working order. We also offer a full range of safety equipment. The office is open seven days a week and we employ two highly skilled, friendly and dedicated yacht brokers to assist you with any enquiries.

The River Orwell is lined by beautiful, scenic countryside and was voted by the Royal Yachting Association as one of the most picturesque rivers in the country. The cruising area includes the rivers Deben, Blackwater, Crouch and Thames, making Ipswich Haven Marina the ideal base for cruises to destinations such as Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth, Woodbridge and London. The River Orwell is also only a short sail away from mainland Europe, and attracts many sailors from Holland, Belgium, Germany and France.

This 320 berth marina opened in 2000 and is now regarded by many as the premier marina on the East coast. Situated in the heart of Ipswich’s waterfront, this ‘five gold anchor’ facility offers boaters easy access to local restaurants, bistro’s and bars and the town center. There are also theatres and parks all within walking distance.
