Bavaria Cruiser 56

The CRUISER 56 is, quite simply, customised luxury on the water. There are six layout options to choose from – from the comfortable 3-cabin version up to a 5-cabin version with an optional skipper cabin. The CRUISER 56 offers smart spatial design to meet your every demand. Elegant lines, luxury and innovative design behind every detail make the CRUISER 56 an inimitable dream boat.

A large cockpit to spend many captivating hours of sailing, relaxing moments at anchor and happy times with family and friends in the harbour – the CRUISER 56 is made for a life of luxury on the water.

BAVARIA has its own team to perform active quality control – the Integrated Quality Control Management team. This department not only monitors the quality of the BAVARIA at every stage of the production process, but relentlessly and minutely scrutinises every step of production with a view to on-going optimisation. The men and women of the Integrated Quality Control Management team are involved in the process right from the start when the design and production team start designing a new BAVARIA. Every step is predetermined and documented, from the first laminate to the last polish before delivery. In the end there is a substantial record for each BAVARIA produced, a file that documents how the required quality is checked at each stage of construction of a BAVARIA. The result is an exemplary production process that forms the basis for having the boat certified by Germanischer Lloyd, successfully achieved for all BAVARIA yachts.

Spatial concepts

A cleverly thought-out spatial design gives the owner endless options for the CRUISER 56 to be tailored to their individual needs. With a maximum of five cabins, the CRUISER 56 can accommodate up to 10 people on board in comfort and luxury. Two aft cabins with single bunks that can be converted to king-size double bunks in a few simple steps, a cabin with two double bunks amidships and two double cabins in the bow – the CRUISER 56 has the ability to become a real "spaceship". As an optional extra, a separate skipper cabin can also be built into the bow. For owners who expect fewer guests, the ideal option is to take the 3-cabin version with a huge owner's suite in the bow, including a head with separate shower cubicle. The saloon design is uniquely suitable for life on board. The U-shaped breakfast bar is adjacent to the large galley and becomes the navigation space when out at sea. The U-shaped sofa in the saloon not only offers room for large dinner parties, it is also the perfect place to kick back and relax after an eventful day of sailing.

Innovative luxury

On board a CRUISER 56 there is a place for everything, and everything is in its place. The dinghy's storage is located under the cockpit in the dinghy garage – the brain child of the BAVARIA engineers – and can be launched easily and safely from the swim platform. The cockpit table lowers to become a stunning area for sunbathing, with refreshing drinks at hand in the cockpit table's built-in cool box. The galley has another 150-litre refrigerator and an optional 90-litre freezer – just some of the hundreds of innovative details to choose from on the CRUISER 56.

The aim of the TRIM and DOCK CONTROL systems developed by BAVARIA is to make it possible to sail a yacht of this size with a small crew and manoeuvre her safely to any berth in the harbour. The TRIM CONTROL system is based on powerful electric winches that can not only pull the sails tight but also ease them in a controlled manner. A CRUISER 56 with TRIM CONTROL can be tacked with the press of a button. The engine as well as bow and stern thrusters are controlled with the use of a joystick, making mooring or casting off a breeze very easy.
