The LM26 is a well built, comfortable motorsailer with a modified interior layout ideally suited to a couple, with an additional two occasional berths under canvas. They are easily handled and with their protected helm, great all weather cruisers.
This particular example is presented in good, clean order and benefits from a replacement engine with very low hours and a recent cockpit canopy.
The accommodation offers two berths in an open plan layout with provision for an occasional two additional berths in the cockpit and good headroom throughout.
Good sized cockpit with built-in fold out table and access to engine compartment. Drop down door to wheelhouse with large opening sun roof, helm position to starboard with stowage below foot rest and helm seat. Galley to port comprising two burner gas hob with grill, stainless steel sink with pressurised cold water supply, cool box, lift up work surfaces and storage beneath. Large lazarette beneath wheelhouse sole.
Steps leading down to accommodation with tool box/stowage beneath, separate heads to port with Jabsco sea toilet, opening port light, pull out moulded sink and cupboard above. Hanging locker with shelving opposite. Saloon area with settee berths to both sides, back rest doubles up as berth extension to port berth. Stowage above and below, saloon table to centre which slides up for stowage. Double door locker to forepeak. Escape hatch to foredeck.
Located beneath the cockpit sole in a GRP hush box, single Nanni N3.21 three cylinder 21hp diesel engine (New in 2014 and serviced May 2026 , freshwater cooled via heat exchanger on saildrive (Seals replaced 2025). Built in 1982 by LM Glasfiber to a design by Bent Juul Andersen. White GRP hull with Navy band and boot top. Rubbing strake. White GRP superstructure with grey painted non-slip finish. Wheel steering with removable tiller in cockpit to skeg hung rudder. Fin keel. Aft self draining anchor locker.
