Built in 1989 by Rival Yachts to Lloyds 100A1 Standard to a design by Peter Brett. White GRP hull with teak rubbing strake and toe rail. White GRP deck and superstructure with teak laid decks. The Rival 36 is a solid, highly respected cruising yacht with good performance under power and sail. A sea-kindly passage maker with a shallow fin keel, suitable for coastal cruising and harbours and rivers unavailable to other deep fin yachts of this size without the usual offset of performance.

This particular “sheel keel” example is presented in good order and benefits from a continual programme of upgrades and improvements including a replacement Beta 35hp diesel engine in 2009, upgraded PRM 125 gearbox in 2024, recent B&G Zeus 7″ and 12″ plotters and a fixed GRP bespoke windscreen for all-weather cruising.
