This 1996 Westerly Oceanquest 35 centre cockpit features a bow thruster and a 30 HP Volvo Penta diesel engine with shaft drive. The vessel is very well set up for single-handed sailing or for a couple. The Westerly Oceanquest 35 offers 6 berths in two cabins, with the master cabin aft and a double-berth island bed. The Westerly Oceanquest Centre Cockpit, designed by Ed Dubois, is a spacious family cruiser that a couple can easily handle. The Oceanquest is a well-proven, serious passagemaker. The current owner has kept the vessel for over 7 years and is selling it only due to ill health. The vessel also benefits from a solar and lithium battery setup for extended time off-grid. The centre cockpit also features a good-quality spray hood and a full cockpit enclosure. The vessel will suite somebody looking to do long-term cruising or living aboard.
The accommodation offers six berths in three cabins.
The forecabin has a V-berth double and stowage under the berth. Opening hatch to foredeck.
In the saloon, there is a dinette to port with an insert to make a double berth. There are two armchair seats opposite. A fixed central table with drop leaves. The chart table is to port, with the galley opposite. The galley features a two-burner gimballed gas cooker with a grill and oven, as well as twin stainless steel sinks equipped with a pressurised hot and cold freshwater system. 12V Refrigerator.
There is a separate heads compartment with a marine toilet, shower and washbasin. The aft cabin has a spacious double berth. Eberspächer diesel-fired hot air central heating is fitted with vents in all cabins.
There is a large central cockpit with lots of storage space.
