Prestige yacht ranges explained: what the new coupé and 70-foot flybridge lines mean for buyers in the next 12 months
At the September 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, Prestige announced two additions to its motor yacht families. The C-Line introduces a coupé concept, with the C4.3 scheduled to premiere at boot Düsseldorf in January 2027. The Y-Line will extend Prestige's flybridge offering beyond 70 feet, beginning with the Y74 at Cannes in September 2027. Specifications, engines and prices for both remain unannounced, according to Pressmare's report of the announcement. Buyers hoping to cruise in 2027 can consider established models now, while those committed to either new design should follow the launches before deciding. A launch announcement is not a confirmed UK delivery slot, and dealer lead times can vary by configuration, production capacity and the availability of individual demonstration boats.Prestige yacht ranges explained
Prestige's F-Line, X-Line and M-Line already serve different styles of cruising. The announced C-Line and Y-Line add choices rather than replacing the existing families. Our guide to the Prestige range explains previous generations, while the Prestige range at Burton Waters provides current listings and enquiry options.| Range | Concept | Models | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| F-Line | Flybridge monohulls | F4.3, F4.9, F5.7 and F6.7; earlier flybridge generations remain on the market | Current |
| X-Line | Spacious crossover motor yachts | X60 and X70 | Current |
| M-Line | Power catamarans | M6, M7 and M8 EVO, alongside earlier M48 examples | Current |
| C-Line | Coupé-style motor yachts | C4.3 announced first | Premiere planned for January 2027 |
| Y-Line | Larger flybridge motor yachts | Y74 announced first | Debut planned for Cannes 2027 |
What is the Prestige C-Line?
The C-Line is Prestige's newly announced coupé range. Unlike a traditional flybridge design, a coupé generally prioritises a lower exterior profile, but complete C4.3 layout details are still to come. Prestige expects to unveil the model at boot Düsseldorf, which runs from 23 to 31 January 2027, according to the boot Düsseldorf organisers. Confirmed dimensions, propulsion options, accommodation and pricing have not been published. It is too early to say whether C-Line will replace the earlier S-Line coupés or sit alongside them. Our guide to choosing the right Prestige for your cruising plans discusses older sporting designs, which may suit buyers looking for a lower air draught. The comparison of flybridge, sport yacht and power catamaran layouts can help clarify your preferences before specifications arrive. What is the Prestige Y-Line?
The Y-Line is intended to take Prestige into larger flybridge yachts above 70 feet. Its opening model, the Y74, is scheduled for the September 2027 Cannes Yachting Festival. Prestige has not released a verified length overall, beam, propulsion specification, cabin arrangement or price, so avoid treating preliminary estimates as confirmed facts. For perspective, the Prestige F6.7 measures 20.45 metres overall, according to the manufacturer. It offers a 26-square-metre flybridge, approximately 83 square metres of main-deck living space and a forward owner's suite of roughly 20 square metres. Twin Volvo Penta IPS D13 installations are offered at 900 or 1,000 hp per engine, with three- or four-cabin layouts and an optional crew cabin. Burton Waters quotes cruising and maximum speeds of approximately 24 and 30 knots, respectively, subject to load and conditions. Size affects much more than accommodation. Berth dimensions, insurance, maintenance and handling all deserve attention when moving into larger yachts. At Cannes, Prestige outlined an ambition to introduce six new models over the following twelve months. That is a launch programme, not a guarantee that every model will be delivered to buyers within that period. Three yachts premiered in September 2026, with further launches including the new C-Line and Y-Line scheduled for 2027. Buyers should separate a world premiere from a confirmed production or handover date.| When | What happens | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Autumn 2026 | F6.7, M6 and M8 EVO have premiered | Compare established specifications and enquire about orders |
| January 2027 | C4.3 is scheduled for boot Düsseldorf | Review the first complete coupé details |
| During 2027 | Additional updates across the Prestige ranges are planned | Check official announcements as models are confirmed |
| Cannes Yachting Festival 2027 | Y74 is scheduled to debut | Assess the new larger flybridge offering |
Should you wait for the C-Line or Y-Line?
Wait if a low-profile coupé or a flybridge yacht over 70 feet is central to your plans. Without published dimensions, prices or delivery schedules, comparing future models with a yacht you can specify today is necessarily incomplete. Current F-Line, X-Line and M-Line models give you established designs to inspect, subject to stock and factory availability. A simple approach is to match your decision to how soon you want to use the boat:- Cruising in 2027: Enquire about a current F-Line, X-Line or M-Line yacht and obtain a written delivery estimate before making commitments.
- Wanting a coupé: Follow the January C4.3 unveiling and consider existing S-Line boats. Our guide for new and pre-owned Prestige yacht buyers compares the options.
- Looking above 70 feet: Compare the F6.7 with the X70 now, then assess the Y74 when its actual specification is available.
- Upgrading your yacht: part exchange could simplify the transaction. See our Prestige yacht part exchange upgrade guide and browse used boats for sale.
Ownership support is changing too
Prestige also announced an extension of its Prestige Unlimited Program, intended to develop support and the relationship with owners after handover. The manufacturer traces its history to 1989 and reports more than 5,000 yachts sailing worldwide. Ask which benefits apply to a particular vessel rather than assuming all services are included. Its international warranty generally provides three years of general cover and ten years on the structure of new yachts, but structural cover for the M-Line is seven years. Maintenance requirements, exclusions and delivery dates matter. Also check servicing support at your usual marina before purchase.Questions to ask before you commit
- Which Prestige range best suits your cruising area, passengers and preferred onboard layout?
- What are the confirmed overall length, air draught and beam, including platforms or protrusions that affect berthing?
- Will you skipper the yacht personally, and have you reviewed IPS pod drives before your first season if relevant?
- What are the actual annual costs? Our guide to what UK buyers should budget after buying a Prestige yacht can help.
- Is the build or delivery date contractual, and what happens if it changes?
